This appeal arises out of a boundary action brought by plaintiffs, Nellie Mae Merchant, Gerald James Merchant, and John G. Broussard, Jr., against defendants, Acadia-Vermilion Irrigation Company, Inc., Roi-Tex, Inc., and the City of Kaplan, Louisiana. By virtue of acquisitive prescription beyond title, plaintiffs, Nellie Mae Merchant and Gerald James Merchant, claimed ownership of a portion of two tracts of which defendants were record owners.
