The defendant, Gary Childers, was charged by a Grand Jury Indictment with the crime of second degree murder, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. On February 17, 1984, the trial court heard a motion to suppress all inculpatory statements made by the defendant and denied the motion.
