Ms. Miller, applicant, sought this court's supervisory review of rulings by the district court that it may exercise jurisdiction to modify a Florida custody judgment. We granted the application in order to review the district court's rulings denying applicant's dilatory and declinatory exceptions to the exercise of jurisdiction by the Louisiana court under the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act (UCCJA), LSA R.S. 13:1700, et seq.
