NEWSOME v. STATE

No. 83-1840.

472 So.2d 885 (1985)

Steve Andrew NEWSOME, Appellant, v. The STATE of Florida, Appellee.

District Court of Appeal of Florida, Third District.

July 23, 1985.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Bennett H. Brummer, Public Defender, and Lionel Barnet and James H. Greason, Sp. Asst. Public Defenders, for appellant.

Jim Smith, Atty. Gen. and Jack B. Ludin, Asst. Atty. Gen., for appellee.

Before SCHWARTZ, C.J., and HUBBART and DANIEL S. PEARSON, JJ.

PER CURIAM.

Whether or not Angela Melvin's statement to the police identifying the defendant as the perpetrator of a strong-arm robbery was hearsay, the revocation of the defendant's probation was not solely based thereon and was amply corroborated by other indisputably admissible evidence.
