The defendant, Johnny J. Maiden, appeals his conviction of two counts of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling contrary to the provisions of LSA-R.S. 14:62.2. The defendant was sentenced to seven years at hard labor on each charge, to be served concurrently, one year of each term without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
