The defendant, Clen Rollins, appeals his conviction of simple criminal damage to property, LSA-R.S. 14:56. The defendant was originally charged with two counts of simple criminal damage to property. However, in a bench trial, the court found the defendant guilty only on one count. The court sentenced the defendant to two years at hard labor under the supervision of the Department of Corrections.
