FACTS

Appellant Beamon was charged with eight counts of aggravated robbery and ten counts of second degree assault on February 2, 1984. He pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated robbery, involving separate incidents in which he possessed and threatened victims with a gun. Minn. Stat. §§ 609.245 and 609.11 (1982). In exchange, all other charges were dismissed. He was sentenced to three concurrent prison...
