The plaintiff Alday, a longshoreman, appeals from the dismissal by summary judgment of his maritime personal injury action. Alday's employer was Atchafalaya Industries, Inc. ("Atchafalaya"), which supplies labor to companies that off-load barges and engage in related activities.
