Curtis L. Brown (defendant) was charged by bill of information with possession of phenmetrazine (preludin) with intent to distribute in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:967 A. Defendant pled not guilty and filed a motion to suppress physical evidence. After hearing and denial of that motion, defendant was tried by a jury and convicted as charged. The trial court sentenced defendant to a six year term of imprisonment in the custody of the Louisiana Department...
