Lawrence Augustus was charged by bill of information with two counts of distribution of marijuana in violation of LSA-R.S. 40:966A. Defendant pled not guilty and, after a jury trial, was found guilty as charged on each count. The trial court sentenced defendant to a two year term of imprisonment at hard labor on each count, to run concurrently.
