Lawrence Gray (defendant) was indicted for murder (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 9-1), concealment of homicidal death (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1981, ch. 38, par. 9-3.1) and obstructing justice (Ill.
