Jerry Marcus Jernigan, appellant, was tried and convicted by a jury of possession of a firearm by a felon, TEX.PENAL CODE ANN. § 46.05 (Vernon 1974), enhanced by two prior convictions. The enhanced paragraphs of the indictment were found to be true by the trial court, and appellant was sentenced to life imprisonment.
