This is an appeal by Betty J. Broaden from a conviction of second degree murder in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:30.1. The issues presented on appeal are: (1) Whether the trial judge erred in denying the defendant's motion to suppress certain inculpatory statements; and (2) Whether the State proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the murder was not committed in self-defense. We find that the trial judge was correct...
