Defendant was charged with aggravated robbery, Minn.Stat. § 609.245 (1982). After the trial court denied his motion to suppress his confession and other evidence on constitutional grounds, defendant waived his right to a trial by jury and agreed to let the trial court determine his guilt on the basis of stipulated facts, thereby preserving his right to raise the suppression issues on appeal without putting the state and himself through the time...
