Donald E. Statham appeals from a conviction of theft of the value of at least $200 but less than $10,000. Appellant contends that the trial court erred in permitting the State, over appellant's objections, to cross-examine and impeach him with evidence of an alleged extraneous offense that did not result in a final conviction.
