On October 2, 1982, Slayton Lindsey and his wife Catherine were brutally stabbed to death. Their son, Jack Russell Lindsey, was charged with two counts of murder, convicted, and sentenced to death. He now appeals.1 The issue which we find dispositive pertains to the determination of appellant's competence to stand trial.
