Petitioner, Mrs. Susan Jasinskas, filed a claim for death benefits under the Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, 33 U.S.C. § 901 et seq. She stated that her husband's death from a heart attack in February 1977 was causally related to asbestosis he contracted from working as a pipefitter in a shipyard for Bethlehem Steel Corporation from 1941 to around 1946.
