OPINION

POPOVICH, Chief Judge.

This appeal involves an automobile accident between plaintiff-respondent and defendant-appellant on August 5, 1981. The trial court held that appellant drove negligently and that his negligence was the direct and proximate cause of the accident. Respondent was awarded $1,714.47 for the damage to his car.
