On September 9, 1982, an explosion and fire occurred in an apartment located in a housing project in Quincy. After an investigation the defendants were arrested and charged with various crimes in connection with the incident. A jury found them guilty of willfully throwing or placing explosives at or near persons or property (G.L.c. 266, § 102), and interference with the civil rights of persons (G.L.c. 265, § 37). They were found not guilty of arson...
