BROCK, J.

This case requires us to determine whether the common-law tort action for criminal conversation should be abolished in this State. The Superior Court (Temple, J.), approved the recommendation of a Master (R. Peter Shapiro, Esq.), who noted his inclination to adopt the defendant's argument for abolition of the action, but ruled that any such abolition was a "legislative function." We disagree and hold that the action for criminal conversation...
