The plaintiff-appellant Mercilyn Buchanan, individually and as guardian of the minor Adreas Mark Anthony Shaw, seeks reversal of summary judgment granted the defendants-appellees Stanship, Inc., and Trident Steamship Company in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana. For the reasons set forth below, we conclude that the judgment should be affirmed in part and reversed in part and the case remanded for proceedings not inconsistent...
