Plaintiff's lawsuit alleged his arrest to be in violation of his constitutional rights pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and raised claims of false arrest, false imprisonment, and malicious prosecution. The court granted the defendants' motion for summary judgment on the plaintiff's claim for malicious prosecution, and plaintiff was granted leave to file an amended complaint.
