Marshall Tasker and Herman Tasker were each found guilty of possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, a violation of La.R.S. 40:967 at that time, and possession of cocaine, a violation of the same statute. They were sentenced to the custody of the Department of Corrections for a period of five and seven years, respectively, on the first charge, and five years each on the second charge, the sentences to be served concurrently.
