PRICE, Judge.

The defendant, Solomon Birdsong, Jr., has appealed his conviction for first degree murder, La.R.S. 14:30. We find no merit to the numerous assignments of error and affirm the conviction for the reasons assigned herein.

The charge against the defendant arises from the February 2, 1982, murder of Phyllis Bratton and armed robbery of a Pizza Hut restaurant in Shreveport. The defendant originally pled not guilty; but changed
