Defendant, Roger James Eason, was charged by bill of information with attempted second degree murder1 and with armed robbery.2 A jury found him guilty as charged on both counts. Defendant was sentenced to 25 years at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence, on the armed robbery conviction and to a concurrent hard labor term of 15 years on the attempted second...
