Plaintiff, Albert F. Brown, filed a motion (87 Ill.2d R. 381) for leave to file an original action in mandamus directed against Anthony J. Scotillo, a judge of the circuit court of Cook County, and Walter Bezin (hereinafter referred to as defendant). We ordered responses to the motion, and defendant filed a cross-complaint for mandamus
