WATSON, Justice.

Willie Foley was indicted by the grand jury1 for aggravated rape in violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42.2 A unanimous jury found defendant guilty as charged and he was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation, or suspension of sentence. On appeal, defendant urges two assignments of error for the reversal of his conviction and sentence.3
