Ronald Woodson was found guilty by a jury of conspiracy to commit robbery, Ind. Code §§ 35-41-5-2 and 35-42-5-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.), a class A felony, and robbery, Ind. Code § 35-42-5-1 (Burns 1979 Repl.), a class A felony. Upon sentencing, his conspiracy conviction was vacated and merged with the robbery conviction and he was given a forty year prison term.
