Huckstead appeals from the District Court's denial of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus. In this appeal, as in the petition for habeas corpus, Huckstead raises two grounds for relief: 1) that he received ineffective assistance of counsel because his attorney failed to tender the proper self-defense jury instruction; and 2) that he was denied a fair trial because the tendered instructions did not specifically state that the burden...
