On January 7, 1980, plaintiff Alfred White was injured in an automobile accident as a result of the negligence of an uninsured motorist. Although plaintiffs' insurance policy contained $500,000 aggregate single limit liability coverage for bodily injury, it provided only the statutorily required minimum limits of $15,000 for each person and $30,000 for each accident as uninsured motorist coverage.
