Transamerican Freight Lines, Inc. (TAFL) hauled freight by truck throughout the United States. On October 10, 1975, TAFL filed a Chapter XI petition. When the petition was filed, the debtor had secured debt of approximately $8,000,000, tax liabilities of approximately $6,000,000, a debt to the Teamsters Health, Welfare and Pension Funds of approximately $1.2 million and unsecured debt of approximately $7,700,000.
