GUIDRY, Judge.

This is a suit for damages resulting from personal injuries suffered by the plaintiff, Katherine Guerra, when her car collided with a tractor trailer rig being driven by the defendant, Phillip Karam. The accident occurred on May 20, 1980. Also made defendants were Karam's employer and the owner of the tractor, Leonard Welch; the liability insurer of the tractor-trailer rig, Bituminous Casualty Corporation...
