In these consolidated appeals, defendant, Raymond Helsley, appeals convictions of cruelty to a juvenile in violation of La.R.S. 14:93 and unlawful transportation of explosives in violation of La.R.S. 40:1471.3 et seq., as well as consecutive sentences of ten years at hard labor and a fine of $1000 with court costs and default time of 6 months and five years at hard labor and costs with default time of 30 days.
