Reginald Andrews was charged with the first degree murder (R.S. 14:30(3)) of Patrick Anderson. A jury found him guilty of the charge and recommended life imprisonment. Accordingly, the trial judge sentenced Andrews to life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
