WILLIAMSON v. STATE

68650.

171 Ga. App. 904 (1984)

321 S.E.2d 762

WILLIAMSON v. THE STATE.

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Decided September 4, 1984.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

C. Ronald Patton, for appellant.

F. Larry Salmon, District Attorney, William H. Boggs, Assistant District Attorney, for appellee.

SOGNIER, Judge.

Appellant was convicted of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; theft by taking; and receiving, retaining and disposing of stolen property. On appeal he contends the trial court erred by admitting, over objection, certain statements of appellant to a police officer, given prior to being advised of his Miranda rights (Miranda v. Arizona, 384 U.S. 436 (86 S.C. 1602, 16 LE2d 694)).
