R.S., a minor, was adjudicated a delinquent and made a ward of the court on October 21, 1982, in the circuit court of La Salle County and on November 9, 1982, after a disposition hearing, was committed to the Department of Corrections. The appellate court held that, despite the lack of notice to the minor's mother, the circuit court had jurisdiction, but it reversed and remanded the cause...
