Plaintiff Ollie Walton brought this action pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., and § 1981 of the Civil Rights Act of 1866, 42 U.S.C. § 1981. She alleges that the discriminatory actions of defendants denied her a promotion, and a sabbatical leave on account of her race.
