MOWBRAY, Justice:

This appeal centers on the construction of an extension clause in a printed exclusive listing agreement furnished by respondents. In an attempt to validate the clause, which is meaningless as printed when read as a whole, we construe the word "purchaser" to mean "purchase," thus giving the clause a meaning that is reasonable and consistent with the purposes of such clauses.
