Richard Henry was charged by grand jury indictment with the crime of aggravated rape, a violation of La.R.S. 14:42. He pled not guilty. After trial by jury, he was found guilty as charged and sentenced to the mandatory term of life imprisonment without benefit of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.
