MOWBRAY, Justice:

Appellant, Bertha Massey, sued respondent, Ralph J. Litton, M.D., for malpractice. Respondent moved to dismiss on the ground that the statute of limitations barred the claim. The court granted this motion and certified its order pursuant to NRCP 54(b).1 Appellant appeals arguing that the district court erred in its construction of the statute of limitations. We agree.
