OPINION

JACK SMITH, Justice.

Jimmy Mack Short was indicted for the offense of injury to a child. At trial, the jury found him guilty and assessed his punishment at eleven years confinement. On appeal, he raises seven grounds of error.

The complainant, Kenneth Alan Abel, is four years old. On April 23, 1981, he was taken to Alvin Community Hospital where the doctor recommended that he be transferred to John Sealy Hospital in Galveston. At John Sealy...
