This is an original mandamus action brought by relator, Charles Nance Curry, seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus to compel Judge Gene Ater, Judge of the 70th Judicial District Court of Ector County, to grant a motion for legislative continuance filed by one of relator's attorneys, State Senator Craig Washington.
