On June 29, 1983, an involuntary chapter 7 proceeding, 11 U.S.C.A. § 303 (1979), was commenced against the debtor by three petitioning creditors (First Peoples Bank of Washington County, American National Bank & Trust Company of Chattanooga, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation). In his answer filed on July 19, 1983, the debtor admitted he is not generally paying his debts as they become due....
