This is an original petition for a writ of prohibition wherein petitioner Gregory Singleton seeks to restrain the respondent Howard Gross, as a judge of the Circuit Court for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, from trying the petitioner on certain criminal charges on the ground that petitioner's speedy trial rights have been denied.
