In this workmen's compensation suit, the trial judge found that plaintiff, Herschel Watson, was entitled to total disability benefits at the rate of $97.00 per week from July 18,1978 through October 15, 1980, and partial disability payments thereafter until January 2, 1981. In addition, the employer's insurer was held subject to statutory penalties and attorney's fees in the sum of $1,500.00. From that judgment, the plaintiff filed a devolutive appeal...
