Michigan Consolidated Gas Company supplied Fred Sanders Company from April 1979 through February 17, 1981 with natural gas, part of which was purchased from Louisiana suppliers. The cost of this gas to Michigan Consolidated included a use tax imposed by the State of Louisiana. This use tax was passed on to Fred Sanders Company.
