This is a petitory action. The plaintiffs, the heirs of W.C. and Dorothy Thompson, appeal the judgment of the trial court granting the defendant's motion for summary judgment.

W.C. and Dorothy Thompson acquired the property in question from Mary C. Thigpen on October 7, 1943. On October 16, 1943, the Thompsons mortgaged the property to secure a loan of $4,000.00 from J.L. Calhoun, the defendant's husband. On November 30, 1949, an act of sale...
