Keel and Jones were convicted by a jury of one count of bank robbery, 18 U.S.C. § 2113(a), (d) and 18 U.S.C. § 2.

Keel and Richard Wehby, who testified as a prosecution witness, decided to rob a bank and made several trips to locate a suitable target.
