In these actions for personal injuries and property damages the jury returned verdicts in favor of the defendants/appellants. The court directed a verdict for Frank Braunstein on the appellants' claim for contribution, and declined to direct a verdict for Kostas Kiagiadakis. The court, further, granted the motions of the plaintiff and the cross-plaintiffs (Irma Price and the Braunsteins), for a new trial. The new trial order provided, in pertinent part...
