STATON, Judge.

When William Lawson was fired by his employer and accused of vandalizing company property, he sued his employer, The Howmet Aluminum Corporation, and the plant supervisor, Donald Weldy, for defamation. Larry Staub, a polygraph examiner who administered a polygraph examination to Lawson, was also sued by Lawson for negligently administering the polygraph examination. Lawson was fired by his employer on the basis of the polygraph examination results....
